Privacy Policy

Originals for Peacock ("the app", "we", "us") is built and operated by Pouxi. We respect your privacy. The short version: we don't collect personal data. Profiles, vaults, and history live entirely on your Mac.

What we don't do

• We don't have user accounts. There is no sign-up, sign-in, or login of any kind.
• We don't run analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.).
• We don't track you across apps or websites.
• We don't sell, share, or rent any data.
• We don't store your watch history, vault, or preferences on our servers — we don't have servers.

What stays on your device

The app uses macOS UserDefaults and the local sandboxed file system to store, on your Mac only:

• Profile names, colors, and chosen icons
• Your Vault (saved titles)
• Watch history (titles you've opened in the app)
• Sessions (timer state if you use the Sessions feature)
• Region preference (for streaming-provider lookups)
• Match Engine queries (the daily counter for the free tier)

This data never leaves your Mac. It is not synced to iCloud, not transmitted over the network, and not visible to us.

Network calls the app makes

The app reaches the public internet for two purposes only:

• The Movie Database (TMDB) — public catalog metadata (titles, posters, ratings, genres, watch-provider availability). TMDB's privacy policy applies to those requests: themoviedb.org/privacy-policy
• Apple's App Store / RevenueCat — for in-app purchase processing and receipt validation. Apple's and RevenueCat's privacy policies apply to those requests: apple.com/legal/privacy, revenuecat.com/privacy

The trailer player loads videos via YouTube's official IFrame embed when a trailer is available. YouTube's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Apple's privacy manifest

The app ships a PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declaring exactly the system APIs we use. We declare NSPrivacyTracking: false and no collected data types. Required-reason API codes are documented for UserDefaults, FileTimestamp, DiskSpace (URLCache image caching), and SystemBootTime (URLSession internals).

Children's privacy

The app is rated 12+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected in the next App Store update's "What's New" notes.
